Jason Wu is Taiwanese-Canadian, he was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1982, then he moved to Canada when he was 9 years old. He went to Tokyo's junior high school to study sculpture, and studied senior high school in New York and France, and then went into the Parsons The New School for Design in New York.
When Jason Wu was a child, he liked to play Barbie very much, and liked sewing, usually made clothes for dolls. He was a very shy person, he was afraid, he couldn't show and share his passion for playing Barbie and making clothes for them to the children beside him. Jason Wu's mother thought the education in Taiwan was not suitable for him to develop his interest, so she took him to Vancouver to study, and also hired clothing designers to teach him.
Jason Wu started his career at 16 years wold. He designed the clothes of dolls for toy company, Integrity Toys. He launched his own label line of clothes in New York in 2006. And he won the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for Women's Ready-to-Wear in 2008. In 2009, the first lady, Michelle Obama wore his design, the dress was even collected by museum. Therefore, Jason Wu became smash.

Jason Wu is one of my favorite brand. I like the way it displays its feminine atmosphere, not too feminine, simple, generous, modern and shows the women's independence, and it's still graceful.
